This Privacy Policy explains how Cyberlume, Inc. (“Maro”) (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our platform (“the Service”).
Please read this policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is not to use our Website or Service. By accessing or using this Website or Service, you agree to this privacy policy.
1. Information We Collect- Personal Information. We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and contact details. This information includes data you share with us (such as via the Service, web chats, and survey responses), information collected from social media sites, and/or information you provide when you interact with the Service.
- Usage Data. We collect data on your internet usage, including email and web browsing activities, to provide the Service to you and enhance our platform’s functionality. This data may include information such as your device’s IP address, log data, browser type, browser version, the pages of the Service that you visit, the time and date of your visits, time spent on a page, diagnostic data such as unique device identifiers, the types of content that you view or engage with, and the features you use and the actions you take. - Do Not Track Signals. Our website currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy whether or not a DNT signal is received.

- To contact you: (1) with updates, changes, or issues about the Services; and/or (2) with offers, news, and general information about the Service or Maro, unless you have opted not to receive such communications.
- To improve and personalize your experience on our platform.
We may use your Usage and Technical Data:

- To train or improve our AI models to enhance service quality, accuracy, and responsiveness. This includes using your interactions with our service to refine how our AI responds to similar situations in the future.
- Personalize AI-generated content and safeguards based on your preferences, past interactions, and usage patterns.
- Evaluate and improve the quality, accuracy, and relevance of AI-generated social engineering detections, including through human review of a limited sample of interactions.
- Develop new AI features and capabilities that better serve your needs.
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to identify areas for service improvement.
- For analytics and, in some cases, for moderation and prevention of fraud and malicious activity.
Currently, this data processing is necessary for the core functionality of our service and cannot be disabled while using our platform. We are transparent about this use of data as required by applicable privacy laws. Your continued use of our service indicates your acknowledgment of these data processing activities.
We implement appropriate safeguards when using your data, including scrubbing of PII/PHI, data minimization, de-identification where feasible, and secure data storage and processing techniques. We use reasonable efforts to ensure the security and integrity of your data during AI training.
We retain data used for AI training for the entire lifecycle of the AI model.
We are developing tools that may allow for more granular control over your data in the future. We will notify users of any changes to these practices and options through updates to this privacy policy.
3. Sharing Your Information
We may share your Personal Information as follows:
- We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
- We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating the platform, subject to confidentiality agreements.
- We may share your information with other users with your consent, for example if your account is linked to another user’s account.
- When required to disclose information pursuant to valid request from law enforcement or public authorities, or when we believe in good faith that the disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect and defend the rights or property of Maro, prevent or investigate wrongdoing in connection with the Service, protect the personal safety of users or the public, and/or protect against legal liability.
4. Transfer of Personal Information
- Your Personal Information is processed at us-east-2 in the United States. This means that your Personal Information may be transferred to and/or maintained in locations outside of your state or country.
- We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that no transfer of your Personal Information will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place, including the security of your data and other personal information.
- If you are an international user of the Service, you understand and acknowledge that your Personal Information will be transferred from your location to our facilities and servers in the United States and possibly from your location to other countries where our service providers operate

5. Data Retention
- Personal Information. We will retain your Personal Information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and retain and use it to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
- Usage Information. We retain Usage Information for internal analysis purposes. Usage Information is generally retained for a shorter period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of the Service or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
- Technical Information. We retain data used for AI training for the entire lifecycle of the AI model.

- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
- California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia provide (now or in the future) their state residents with rights to:
- Confirm whether we process their personal information.
- Access and delete certain personal information.
- Correct inaccuracies in their personal information, taking into account the information’s nature processing purpose (excluding Iowa and Utah).
- Data portability.
- Opt-out of personal data processing for:
- targeted advertising (excluding Iowa);
- sales; or
- profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects (excluding Iowa and Utah).
- Either limit (opt-out of) or require consent to process sensitive personal data.
- The exact scope of these rights may vary by state. To exercise any of these rights or appeal a decision regarding a consumer rights request, please email beatrice@seekmaro.com.
- Nevada provides its residents with a limited right to opt-out of certain personal information sales. Residents who wish to exercise this sale opt-out rights may submit a request to this designated address: beatrice@seekmaro.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute’s opt-out requirements.

- The Service may link to websites and services we don’t operate. We don’t control those third-party sites and aren’t responsible for their content, privacy policies, or practices.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We will let You know via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service, prior to the change becoming effective. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
